Create Over 90 Glittery Poinsettias for the Holidays
You get everything: patterns, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, glitter, glue, felt, tape and beads. Makes 90 glittery poinsettias—fully three-dimensional! Complete in one class period. Middle School, High School level.
I was under the imprrssion that the paper was already cut. It was time consuming and difficult for my students to follow directions and cut all the circles and petals. I was under the impression that because it was skit that the papers were already pre cut.
I love the introductory video that I was able to share with students and the visor on how to cut the papers,, but it was too much for kids and I would have trie to pre cut the paper but it is time consuming.
Beautiful, but a Bit Tedious

These are beautiful, but a pain to make in class. I highly suggest cutting out the patterns and the circles yourself. Students (even high schoolers!) will waste far too much paper/felt otherwise! This is a messy project, as the kit contains glue, which you will pour onto a paper plate and dip flowers in, as well as glitter, which you will dip the gluey flowers in. The flowers are beautiful when finished, but it's a long process that is difficult to finish in a 50-minute class period unless you have prepared the materials ahead of time. A few of my high-schoolers had difficulty with several of the steps. There is a nice video that shows the steps. We play it multiple times and freeze it as needed. :)
