The Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression: Times of Restructuring. Graphic American History from 1920 to 1940
History is a story. See it brought to life in this graphic narrative about the two decades, beginning with the hope for change in America after all of the sacrifices made during World War I and spanning across Prohibition, the Stock Market Crash, and the Great Depression.
Your students will experience the period through realistic renderings of famous historical figures, including presidents Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, and Roosevelt. Natural dialogue along with narrative text provides readers two simultaneous yet different perspectives of pivotal events in American history.

The Roaring Twenties & The Great Depression Graphic Novel
May 8, 2019 | By Sarah Shoesmith

The Roaring Twenties & The Great Depression graphic novel did not meet my expectations. Reading it as an adult, I found it hard to follow. If I felt that way, I know my students will feel that way too. I also felt like it didn't capture the main ideas of the era.
