Nice prizes

I like that these come with the slip of paper which has the legend on it. A lot of my students choose these as their prize because of that (the legend is that if you put tell them your worries then put them under your pillow, they will take away your worries as you sleep). I make a comparison to Dream Catchers (because some students seem to have a fear they are voodoo dolls!)

These little dolls are excellent to end a cultural unit on Guatemala. For the price, there is a lot of attention to detail. The kids seemed to enjoy receiving them.

Please remove my last review. My secretary had the package and didn't realize it. I apologize. The product arrived and looks great! I do question the note, however. It says "Hi Sharon, You can go wrong with the worry dolls..." I'm hoping Mary meant to write "You CAN'T go wrong with the worry dolls."

I've given these as recuerdos at the end of classes for many years. Young elementary children love them. They learn where Guatemala is, traditional dress and are enchanted with the idea of their worries disappearing by telling them to the dolls. Then they want to make their own, which we sometimes do with clothespins.

I have been buying these, and bobble head turtles, for many years. My students love them! They also enjoy reading about worry dolls. I love that they are made in Guatemala, and the turtles are made in Mexico. A great product!

I love these colorful dolls and their woven bags! I give them to students who are finishing upper level courses or ones who have mentioned extra stress in their lives. Once these 30 are gone, I anticipate ordering more.
