Imagine, imagine, imagine! Use these student-friendly stories as bell-ringers/class starters or include the Spanish fantasies as an integral part of your daily lesson plans. Each fantasy provides a creative context while making grammar and vocabulary acquisition easy for your students. ¿Dónde estamos?," "El tatuaje misterioso," "Dame un beso," "Siri le habla a mi novia." " Quiero ser Iron Man," "Hace mucho frío en Cincinnati," "Estoy muy estresada," and "el estudiante desaparece" are just some of the titles.
Stories are quick and are five to eight lines in length. A short vocabulary list and thorough discussion questions provide speaking or writing practice following each fantasy. Grammar and vocabulary topics are highlighted under each fantasy title, making it easy to incorporate into your lesson plans. Thirty-seven stories are in present tense, five are in the past tenses (preterite-imperfect), and two are in the present tense subjunctive. Teaching suggestions are included.
