Verbo™ Turns Spanish Verb Conjugation Lessons into an Exciting Card Game!
Verbo is our version of one of the world’s most popular card games! A Michigan Spanish teacher's creation, Verbo reinforces verb forms and helps students recognize different conjugations! The game plays just like UNO™. All the rules remain the same except that players change suit by laying down a card of the same verb or verb form instead of using colors and numbers. Just don’t forget to shout "Verbo!" when you have one card left! 72 cards. Laminated. Three to six players. Intermediate.
Verb List: habler, trabajar, llevar, usar, mirar, necesitar, cantar, bailar, comprar

We actually play spoons with the Uno cards more often than we play Uno. We take all the special cards out, have some plastic spoons, deal 4 cards to each student in the group. They have to have 4 of one kind & when they do they grab a spoon. The person left without a spoon gets a letter. The first one that gets all the letters of Cucharas loses. This makes them think more about the cards than Uno. I am sure you could play Old Maid or Go Fish with them too.
