La bella mentira (La clase de confesiones #2: “Carlos mete la pata”)
Carlos is having a bad day, and it’s about to get worse. He leaves Spanish class utterly embarrassed and runs into further problems in math class, with all of his troubles leading up to a big showdown in the lunchroom. Could a short story in Spanish class hold the key to all of his problems?
This sequel to La clase de confesiones is written almost entirely in the present tense with many familiar vocabulary words and English-Spanish cognates. The vocabulary contained in the novel relates to school, basic TL structures, and, of course, el amor.
