Not worth $40
Aug 29, 2017 | By Shelly McCormick

I like it, don't get me wrong. Plenty of room to write everything I need, like the little quotes. But really, really not worth $40. Not much better than something I could have gotten for $15 or $20 from local school supply store. If worth it was going to buy one for entire department. nah.
Staff's Response: Hello Shelly, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am sorry you are disappointed with your purchase. We have an unconditional 100% guarantee, you are welcome to a return the planner for a full refund of the purchase price. I have shared your review with the manager and developer. Thanks again.
World Languages Planner

This Planner is a bit of a disappointment. It does have a list of links for state standards towards the beginning of the planner. I don't believe it is worth the cost I paid for it. Sorry.
Room for improvement
Sep 12, 2017 | By Victoria Carll

While this planner has a lot of wonderful aspects, there is certainly room for improvement. It currently does not have calendar space for weekends (and all teachers know we have tasks and events that fall on those weekends) and it would be nice not to have to fill out the calendar dates. The websites listed on the pages provide a few good resources, but language activity sites would be an excellent addition. There is plenty of space for goals and organizing daily, but the book is also quite large and heavy to travel with on a regular basis.
Good on its way to better?

Great idea for a planner for language instructors. Handy to have goals and language objectives built in, along with inspirational quotes.
for improvement: the paper is hard to write on in pencil, and the title needs inspiration. I am a little bit embarrassed to have a big book titled MY PLANNER visible in meetings...
The spiral binding is a disaster. It comes unwound constantly. More useful would be a 3 hole punch style in a 1" binder so that I can insert pages.
I also think it's a little bit overpriced, given that it really does contain mostly blank pages, and I'm already underpaid.
I will enjoy using it this year but not sure I would reorder.
Staff's Response: Hi Debra, Thank you for the review and for sharing your recommendations. We will be considering these for future development and greatly appreciate your input. Someone will be contacting you regarding the issues you had with the planner.
Beautifully done

This is a first rate planner! It is very artistically done with inspiring quotes and a definite focus on world language. My only complaints is that it is a bit pricey and I would prefer the pages were in a binder type enclosure so that pages could be reordered or moved around, as needed.
Staff's Response: Hi Tina, Great to hear you like the planner. Thanks for the review and recommendation for the binder format. I am sharing your review with the manager and product developer. Have a great day! -Kristin
Love this planner!

I teach 3 levels of Spanish and the large blocks give me plenty of room to write my learning target as well as the plan to get there.
Beautiful Planner

The organization of the pages and topics is wonderful. I have struggled at finding one that it will be visually easy to read and follow and this is perfect. It has good space to fill in comments. I love the substitute pages.

nice book, but it would have been nice to have the dates printed on each page. Since its only a one year book
Great World Language Planner

This planner is a great paper planner, with the ACTFL standards, inspiring language learning quotes, and plenty of room for writing up lessons and sub plans.
My Planner for World Language Teachers
Jul 31, 2018 | By Ginnae Stamanis

This is my second year using this planner. It is spiral bound, so it sits flat on your desk for easy work. I enjoy the grids for planning and keeping track of weekly lessons because they are ample in size. I also like the gentle quotes that are meant to inspire a World Language teacher, i.e. "To have another language is to possess a second soul" (Charlemagne). On the facing page, there are teaching tips with HTTP reference for further Professional development.
The availability of gridding for "emergency lesson plans" and the open calendars help with physical planning. There is a fully lined page facing the calendar, where one can write "goals" (personal, professional, and for students).
I am disappointed that the quality of the paper is not as good as the paper last year; it seems to be of a slightly lighter weight and one can feel it when you pinch and rub the paper between your fingers. This is what is keeping me away from 5 stars.
Staff's Response: Thank you for leaving your feedback; we appreciate the time you took. We had used a different printer this year and this resulted in a new type of paper. We will take this into consideration with future orders. -Audrey I

This is my second year ordering and using this planner and I love it. It has the perfect space for noting all activities, events, students notes and more. Hopefully I'll keep using it in the future years!
