Jumpstart Authentic Conversation with Rejoinders
Instead of asking students to answer with “oui” or “non,” give them a broader range of responses—“moi aussi,” “imagine,” “ah, bon ?” and more! Having a large repertoire of common phrases helps students to express themselves in ways that are emotionally and situationally appropriate, and makes them feel like real French speakers. Each set contains four 12 x 18-inch pieces, with four rejoinders on each piece (16 per set), and an 8 x 11-inch sheet that lists the expressions and their English translations. Hang as whole sheets or cut apart.
