I love using these pencils to teach about adjectives cooperatively . Each student in a group is given a different color pencil . Students make three columns on a sheet of paper (or mini white board) , and list the words on their pencil and compare to the other student's words. I ask students what is different about your words. Students then share their list and copy the adjectives of their group members . Hence we discuss masculine, feminine and neutral adjectives. I let my students keep their pencils.

Outstanding way to "treat" the kids, motivation, awesome in my treasure chest for job well done. I love all the adjectives/Spanish descriptive word to reinforce vocab.

My students ABSOLUTELY LOVE the pencils. To them it is fun to have a "treat", but subversively it drives home more Spanish words and grammar!!
