Spanish Culture Learning Activity

In the days before Christmas, we learn about traditions that are observed in Spanish-speaking countries. Each year I have my Spanish class students each put out a shoe on January 5th in anticipation of "el Dia de los Reyes Magos." I fill little bags with small items--including these pens, friendship bracelets, Spanish Christmas pencils, candy, etc. and place them on the shoes for the students to open when they come to class on the 6th. They get excited to come to class and see what they got. The pens are nice to write with and are also a reminder to students of this learning activity.

I have been using these as gifts during our Awards Assembly. The kids love them and when I get a younger sibling they tell me pretty early on they plan on earning one just like their sibling. The kids love to use them in other classes and show them off.

My Spanish 2B students loved the pens. They were very appreciative of my thoughtfulness to them. I was very excited that I chose the pens for them.

They were cute. I bought them for my Spanish IV students. Most wrote well. Some never worked.

Staff's Response: Hello Dina, Please contact customer service and we can send you some replacement pens for the ones that did not work. Or we can issue a refund for the product.

My Spanish teacher in high school got me hooked on these pens. She gave them out as prizes and I loved how smooth they wrote. The design in the side has changed since then, but the quality has not. The only thing I was sad to see is that the ink is now black, instead of my favorite blue like it used to be. Still, I highly recommend these pens!
